MEET GREG PRATT

Greg was born and raised on traditional country music with a touch of the blues, in the suburbs of Memphis Tennessee. He lives and breathes a driving beat and masters an infectious energy on stage. Raised the son of two doctors, many expected Greg to follow in the family footstep. Off to college he went. But just a credit shy of graduating at the University of Alabama, Greg set out to blaze a new trail all his own, as a Country Music singer-songwriter.

Fifteen years earlier, Greg found his passion on an old Ovation from his parents. When Greg invited his father to an early gig in Memphis, his father caught a glimpse of Greg’s passion for music and gifted him with the six-string (Amanda) and twelve-string (Sally), a set of rare Guild guitars, wishing him luck, despite a father’s reservations. The same Guild guitars that Greg was once busted sneaking out to play while his Dad was away at work.

For Greg, earning his father’s respect and approval as a young artist was and still is the most important triumph of his budding career. With twin Guild guitars and a couple dollars in his bank account, Greg packed up and moved to Nashville, without a plan… and Greg wrote his story in his song “Different Strings”

From busking on the streets of Nashville to becoming the hottest rising star at the biggest venues on Broadway, Greg put his head down and never let off the gas, never looking back. Greg was honing his craft and paying his dues the hard way and it was starting to pay off. A couple self-styled EP’s later, Greg finally had a chance meeting in a guitar shop with a couple of Nashville veterans and quickly made friends.

That friendship grew over the next couple years until one day, the partners at ProGo Music Group in Nashville decided they would take a chance on Greg. His natural ability to entertain, incredible vocal talent and unique guitar style, not only made Greg a favorite on Broadway, but was winning fans across the country. The country music industry was taking notice…

Writing and recording a national release project due out in the 2nd quarter of 2020, Greg has set his path and his star is shining brighter and brighter each day.
